Moon-tae Yoon is a founder of C&R Research, which is South Korea’s no.1 CRO in revenue and size. Mr. Yoon began to accrue extensive experience in product development at Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co. in 1978, and he joined the multinational company LG Chem in 1984, where he took charge of its clinical trials for over a decade. By 1997, He established the first private enterprise CRO in Korea, C&R Research, pioneering the growth of the Korean CRO industry.
With the growing CRO industry in Korea, C&R Research gradually built its reputation as a CRO. It is now Korea’s oldest full-service CRO. With experience from approximately 1,500 domestic and international clinical projects, diverse network, and expertise of the staff, C&R Research provides services and solutions that accommodate each client’s different circumstances accordingly. Mr. Yoon has been credited for his work in the industry. He received the Jang Young-sil Award, which is given to a person in charge of technology development at a local in 1991, and he was listed in Marquis Who’s Who in 2018. He was also conferred an award of recognition by the Minister of Health and Welfare for his contributions to the development of Korea’s domestic clinical trial industry.
